In February, Cimarron Public Transit System will hold public gatherings throughout the service area to talk about community transportation. We want input from our patrons for the area transportation program.
Feedback gathered from the public will be taken into account as staff reviews and updates the agency’s transportation plan for fiscal year 2017. The plan will be included into the annual application for funding under Section 5311, formula grants for Rural Areas Program to provide financial assistance for a community transportation program. The program plans to continue operating in and around the city limits of Barnsdall, Bartlesville, Bristow, Cleveland, Dewey, Drumright, Kellyville, Mannford, Pawnee, Ponca City, Pawhuska, Sapulpa and Skiatook. The application will be submitted to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation by April 1.
Riders interested in attending may request free transportation to/from the meeting. Reservations must be scheduled by Monday, February 1. A limited number of free rides will be available to the first callers.
If you are unable to attend, but would like to share comments, written responses can be submitted via drivers or email to: email@example.com. Your input is important. Feel free to contact us with questions or issues.
