OK Mozart Launch Party Set January 28
June 11-18 concerts and artists to be announced.
BARTLESVILLE, OK – Excitement is building as OK Mozart International Festival officials prepare to announce this season’s details at a Launch Party slated from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 28 at the Bartlesville Community Center in Bartlesville, Okla.
Tickets, which are $15 each, can be purchased at the OKM festival box office, 415 S. Dewey Ave., in Bartlesville, by calling 918-336-9800 or online at www.okmozart.com. Admission to the popular event includes hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks. Accomplished pianist Narnie Roll will entertain guests prior to the program.
Now in its 32nd season, the June 11-18 music festival will feature daytime and evening concerts, as well as a wide variety of cultural Showcase events. During the Launch Party, hosted by OKM Executive Director Dr. Randy Thompson, a short video presentation will announce the main concerts and guest artists.
“The Launch Party is the culmination of months of dreaming and negotiations. This launch is particularly exhilarating, since it marks new territory for OK Mozart. We are embracing the arts across Oklahoma, more than ever,” said Thompson, who also will reveal exciting, new collaborations.
In addition, Oklahoma’s finest orchestras — the Tulsa Symphony, Signature Symphony and the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, including performances by members of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and Oklahoma City area musicians, will play a key role in this year’s festival, according to officials with OKM. Those attending the Launch Party will receive a one-time discount offer on season tickets to the upcoming festival. Seat selection will be available.
