The Price Tower Arts Center (PTAC) and Bartlesville Art Association (BAA) are excited to announce a new collaboration that will further the Missions of both organizations.
The Bartlesville Art Association has been serving the Art Community since 1952. They have been meeting in the Art Center Building in Johnstone Park since that time. The building has suffered flooding in the past and it is located in the Caney River floodway, making it unsuitable to be renovated and occupied in the future.
One goal of the Price Tower Arts Center is to inspire Artists and Audiences of all ages. The Bartlesville Art Association is committed to serving the community through the love of Visual Arts. The groups will be providing educational and growth opportunities to Artists and Audiences alike through this new collaboration.
The BAA will be relocating to the Price Tower Design Center, north of the Price Tower. Planning is underway to prepare the space for occupancy by the BAA sometime after the first of the year.
Scott Ambler, Executive Director of the Price Tower had this to say about the collaboration:
“We are delighted that the Bartlesville Art Association is joining us in our Mission to Inspire Artists and Audiences through teaching, practicing and exhibiting all genres of Visual Arts. The Bartlesville Art Association will bring talent and a depth of understanding to the Price Tower Arts Center that we don’t possess without them. It is a perfect alliance and we are really excited to continue our work together!”
