Registered Apprenticeship Workshop for all employers in Northeast Oklahoma on April 26th

Registered Apprenticeship Workshop – In partnership with the Northeast Workforce Development Board (NEWDB), the Claremore Chamber of Commerce and the Rogers County Business Consortium are sponsoring a Registered Apprenticeship Workshop for all employers in Northeast Oklahoma on April 26th. The event will be held at Northeast Tech – Pryor Campus from 8:00-10:30 AM.

The NEWDB and the Claremore Chamber will collaborate with industry leaders in, as well as other workforce partners including higher education, Career Tech, and the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance. Jenna Morey, State Director of Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning at the Oklahoma Office of Workforce Development will present an informational workshop for business and industry leaders in northeast Oklahoma. The workshop will provide business leaders with the resources and information they need to understand the benefits of Registered Apprenticeships. The workshop will also feature businesses who are currently building Registered Apprenticeships. These employers will participate in a Q&A panel so that other attendees can gain a deeper understanding of why businesses have selected Registered Apprenticeship as a solution to their workforce needs and how the process of creating a Registered Apprenticeship works.
