The annual Foster Bonanza event is a special evening designed by OKWU’s Keating Center to champion the cause of the pioneer spirit of freedom, faith and liberty.
The highlight of this year’s event will be honoring the first Pioneers in Free Enterprise Fellows, to be inducted to the newly established “Pioneers Hall of Fame”. This designation will be given to honor key people who have been “pioneers” in the marketplace, the community and in the church.
We define a Pioneer Fellow as someone who is “a leader who opens or prepares—a way, a business or organization — and then opens it for occupation or development by others.” In other words, a pioneer goes first. Before everyone else. They are selfless, assertive and forward-thinking. A leader. And they are bridge builders, bringing others together and helping them flourish.
The evening will include dinner, music, honors and a brief live auction to provide support for the work of OKWU’s Keating Center and student scholarships.
