OK MOZART International Festival
A national music festival of world-class quality, the OK MOZART International Festival takes place each year in mid-June at the Bartlesville Community Center and other venues in the region. The festival features orchestral and chamber concerts featuring members of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center plus such world-renowned guest artists as Itzhak Perlman, The Canadian Brass, Andre Watts, Anne-Marie McDermott and Kristin Chenoweth with the Amici New York Orchestra. In addition, OK MOZART’s nine days of Showcase Events feature a wide variety of entertaining and educational musical performances, workshops, lectures, home tours, historical programs and other cultural events. The Festival also offers the Moz-Art Gallery, OKM Gift Shop and Café Mozart where delectable three-course prix fixe dinners and savory lunches are the daily fare. A perennial favorite, the OKM outdoor concert at Woolaroc Nature Reserve, combines classical music with a casual evening of picnicking in a beautiful setting.
Civic Ballet
The Bartlesville Civic Ballet, Inc. was formed in 1970 and its company, Ballet Bartlesville, performs two major productions throughout the year at the Bartlesville Community Center. Don't miss the traditional holiday favorite, 'The Nutcracker,' performed annually.
Symphony Orchestra
The Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Lauren Green, provides outstanding performances, which rival the cultural experience one would expect to find in a large metropolitan area.
