The home of an excellent and renowned public school system and three private schools, Bartlesville places a strong emphasis on quality education. Using a challenging and rigorous curriculum, highly educated professionals work with more than 6,500 students in the district. Evidence of the quality of education provided includes graduating more National Merit Semi-finalists than any other high school in Oklahoma and a number of students attaining Academic All-State achievements. American Christian School
American Christian School is a Pre-K through twelfth grade Classical and Christian Academy that has been serving the families of Washington County since 1994. ACSB recognizes the God-given responsibility and authority of parents to educate their children. ACSB considers itself to be an extension of the family in this capacity.
ACSB strives to offer the best possible instruction: rigorous academics, athletics and fine arts rooted in a Christ-centered worldview using the historically proven classical method of instruction. We seek to provide a loving environment through the grace and power of God so that each student may be equipped for his/her life's calling.

Wesleyan Christian School
Wesleyan Christian School was founded in 1976. Current enrollment is 190 students in Pre-K – 12 representing over 20 different Bartlesville area churches. Annually we offer an average of $75,000 in financial aid and multiple child discounts. WCS is accredited by the Oklahoma Department of Education and is a member of The Association of Christian Schools International. Student to teacher ratio is 15 to 1. Teaching is hands-on and encourages analytical thinking and questioning. Higher Education
Career preparation and continued adult education add to the success and achievements of individuals in Bartlesville. Two four-year universities and a technology school provide excellent opportunities for higher education in Bartlesville. Additional higher education institutions and opportunities for postgraduate studies are available just 40 minutes south in Tulsa.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OWU)
Located in Bartlesville, OWU is a four-year private liberal arts college with an enrollment of about 1,000 students. OWU offers undergraduate degrees in accounting, business administration, communications, English, human resources, mathematics and nursing as well as many graduate programs. RSU Emphasizes accounting, telecommunications, business administration and management, marketing and computer programming. The Bartlesville campus and RSU's main campus in nearby Claremore, offer classes via television and the Internet in addition to the traditional classroom environment. TU is a private university, and provides academic offerings in business, communications, engineering, law, liberal arts and music. TU is internationally recognized for programs related to petroleum exploration and development.
Oral Roberts University (ORU)
ORU places its academic focus on business, communications, engineering, liberal arts, music, nursing and theology. The university is a private institution founded by evangelist Oral Roberts.
Oklahoma State University (OSU)-Tulsa
OSU-Tulsa, has expanded course offerings to provide more than 80 degree choices at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Master and doctoral degrees are also available from OU and OSU through the OU/OSU Research center located at the OSU-Tulsa campus.
University of Oklahoma (OU)-Tulsa
OU-Tulsa, places its academic focus on allied health, architecture, arts and sciences, fine arts, liberal studies, medicine, nursing, pharmacy and public health. Master and doctoral degrees are available.
Career Tech
Tri County Technology Center (TCTC)
TCTC, located in Bartlesville, offers an individualized learning environment. More than 600 full-time day students and over 3000 adult and industry evening students attend TCTC per semester. Daytime programs include cosmetology, business and computer technology, culinary arts, dental assisting, paralegal studies and commercial printing and design. TCTC also offers short-term evening and community education classes.
