Disney Song-Box on the Radio During OKM’s July Kid’s Series

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (June 17, 2020) – OKM Music is preparing for its 36th annual festival
September 4-10 and always delivers a fun variety of events for all ages in addition to its regularly scheduled
performances. In response to COVID-19, OKM has added six days of children’s activities, July 13-18.

“Each event will require an RSVP by July 1 due to each children’s event having very limited capacity.
We will be increasing our cleaning efforts as well as practicing physical distancing to ensure everyone’s
safety,” says Rose Hammerschmidt, OKM’s Director of Children’s Programming.

The weeklong series in July will include story time with art projects and music, an interactive violin
event, a magic show, the annual Prince and Princess Tea, as well as a family radio bingo “song-box” event
featuring the musical magic of Disney and Pixar.

On Friday, July 17, starting at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., special guests Jacky Manning and Michael Duncan will
be leading the on-air radio bingo song-box. Families and youth of all ages can listen live on KYFM 100.1, the
Bartlesville Radio Facebook page, and/or telling their smart speaker to “play KYFM” at the time of the event.

Those wishing to play this on-air radio bingo will need to RSVP by July 1 at
okmmusic.org/childrensevents or call (918) 336-9900. From July 8-17, attendees can pick up their bingo cards
and a pizza voucher from the OKM office.

Winners from the song-box will receive family-themed prizes including dinner gift cards, movie theater
vouchers, as well as family night playing miniature golf, to name a few.

In addition to in-person children’s events, OKM will also be offering the option to live-stream most of the
events in July through OKM’s Facebook page: OK MOZART. On each children’s event listed, it is noted if a
live-stream option is available. If youth will be attending an event online, parents and guardians can pick up the
art materials from OKM, July 8-10.

“By offering events online through a live stream alternative, this gives our parents and guardians
another option to ensure their children’s safety,” says Hammerschmidt.

All of the children’s events take place in Bartlesville with an RSVP required for every event no later than
July 1. The annual Prince and Princess Tea tickets are $10 for each child and $10 for each adult attending. To
RSVP, please visit okmmusic.org or call (918) 336-9900.
