[BARTLESVILLE, OK, MAY 16, 2022] The Frank Phillips Home was presented with a check in the amount of $25,000 by the Jane Phillips Society.
The Bartlesville Chapter of the Jane Phillips Society was honored to present a check in the amount of $25,000 to the Friends of the Frank Phillips Home for needed repairs. Jane Phillips, or as she was affectionally called, Aunt Jane, helped to found JPS in 1937. This year JPS is celebrating 85 years of service to Bartlesville and other Phillips communities. “It is indeed an honor to remember the legacy of Jane Phillips and to help keep her house as a unique attraction for Bartlesville visitors,” stated Gail Barnett, JPS Bartlesville Chapter Vice President.
The Frank Phillips Foundation, Inc., which owns and operates Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve, was bestowed ownership and management of the Frank Phillips Home in January of 2018 by the Oklahoma Historical Society. “We are incredibly grateful to receive this donation from the Jane Phillips Society and will use the funds to preserve the beauty of the home” stated the Frank Phillips Foundation’s CEO, Kevin Hoch.
