Dress up in your favorite Bavarian folklore clothes and head to OKM’s Oktoberfest from 4 to 11 p.m. Oct. 6 outside on Dewey Avenue between Fourth and Fifth streets in downtown Bartlesville.
Revelers can dance to live polka music; eat delicious, traditional German foods; and enjoy the beer garden, wine, costume contest, and raffle.
Test your strength and skill during the stein-holding competition and Hammerschlagen game (hammer a nail into tree trunk). Local vendors will be on hand to offer specialty items.
Bring your kids who will find lots of fun among the children’s activities: Torwand (traditional soccer game), Lebkuchenherzen (German heart cookie decorating), kazoo parade, face painting, alphorn craft, and more. A magician/ventriloquist will perform twice during the evening.
Adult tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the gate. Student admission for ages 13-20 is $5. Children 12 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
Purchase tickets online at https://firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the OKM office, 415 S. Dewey in Bartlesville. Processing fees apply.
