Operation Clean House 2021

Operation Clean House is Washington County’s annual and FREE hazardous household waste disposal and recycling event. The event provides an opportunity for residents to remove hazardous waste from their homes, have a safer space for their families, and overall have a safer community. This year’s event will be on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 from 8 AM to 2 PM. We have two venues that accept different types of hazardous waste: the Phillips 66 Downtown Bartlesville Parking Lot and the District 2 County Barn in Dewey. On the day, volunteers are needed to help offload and organize the waste from the vehicles going through our two locations. We will provide all the personal protective equipment needed when the volunteers arrive on site. Because of COVID, masking for volunteers is required this year. There will also be breakfast and/or lunch provided to volunteers.
